Really? Christians are being oppressed? well look at it this perspective: how about all the years that Christians have hated the homosexuals just because of their own ignorance in their religious beliefs. I as a Catholic found this appalling because it is completely ludicrous to be complaining about Christians being "oppressed by gays" when Christians and everybody else have been oppressing the gays as far as history goes back.Do not blame anything on the gays and get over yourselves. you see why these people lost their jobs?? because they lacked a certain sense of professionalism that is expected. God loves all his children regardless. God is forgiving to all. If you really search in the Bible you will see that it says nothing about homosexuals is wrong it particular other than sex outside of marriage. But hey if gays are going to Hell then so am I... sure it isn't perfectly saintly but it is not hurting anybody. Love is love. Why can't you ignorant self righteous people see that? what does it matter if it is love between a man and a man or a woman and a woman? it was the way they were born. i say that what happens in their bedrooms is their own business. they are as much of a person, if not better, as anybody else and i know many homosexuals and i am envious because a lot of them are very much better people then i will ever be. i see gay people as just that: people. so please before you open your mouth to complain remember all the pain that our religion has caused them and please, i urge you, to remember that gays are wonderful and their orientation should have nothing to do with how you treat them.

If a doctor doesn't want to do something that conflicts with their religion, and that another doctor out there will do. That is THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. It isn't oppression, it is the original idea of the first amendment. Keep your government out of our religion, and if you think that means that most americans who are christian can't take part in government, you support tyrannical oligarchy. Really? Christians aren't being oppressed? You apparently believe all media, and don't read anything outside of your hollywood fantasy land. No one should be forced to disobey their religion, if you are fired, or fined for obeying your faith, and that doesn't hurt anyone else in doing so, you are oppressed. Christians are the MOST oppressed people on the face of the earth. In all countries from China to Sudan, we are tortured, raped, enslaved, and this has been constant, and committed by all religious groups, including atheism. He probably uses the NIV, or an even more removed version than that.
