Should New York REALLY Rename the GWB?

A few weeks ago I posted about the grassroots movement to rename the George Washington Bridge in New York City to the George W Bush Bridge. I recently added a link to the Podcast feed for this post, but for some reason it isn't showing up in iTunes, so I'm posting a fresh link to the Podcast above.

Hopefully, THIS post to the podcast will show up in the feed.

I've also created a Youtube Video of the podcast.

Is this for real? Who supports renaming a bridge named after one of this country's favorite presidents with one of its (currently) least popular. Why don't they name if for Nixon instead?

I am so glad you decided to finally lets us hear your voice. You sound like a "red neck", un-educated, baptist asshole...oh wait...YOU ARE!

Please don't ever record your voice again. It makes me want to punch babies. And as some one who LOVES children (I plan on having six with my soon to be wife) I have to be REALLY annoyed to want to even yell at a child. Out side of disciplinary actions.

The bridge should be renamed in honor of the unfairly forgotten man who created greater New York, Andrew Haswell Green, who also founded the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Natural History, the New York Public Library and Central Park. Let's correct this long-enduring injustice.
