Liberal Christianity: When a Christian realises that arguments against their religion are indeed valid and then changes their whole belief system until it's so vague that that they don't even know what the hell religion they belong to anymore.

Vaccine Testing Subject Dies

Axel Sch made national news in August of 2009 when he had what is euphemistically described as a "negative" reaction to the H1N1 flue vaccine.

He says that within a few hours after the vaccination, on August 10, he had sweat on his forehead. “I felt totally beat. On the third day, my kidneys and head were aching and I got a fever. I then had a coughing fit – and the wash basin was suddenly red – it was blood!"*
The university conducting the tests insisted that his symptoms were not the result of the vaccine.
“Surely it is no coincidence that they occurred directly after the vaccination.” He criticizes the university, saying that he was not properly informed prior to the study. He said that for three days he was flat on his back during this heat. “When I phoned the LMU, they simply asked me the question needed to fill in their form and told me to see my doctor.” He now wants the medical costs and loss of earnings compensated by the medical insurance covering the trial.
Little has been heard of Axel Sch since the news story about his condition. Now, a disturbing new piece of information suggests he may be dead, either as a result of the vaccine or as retribution for coming forward with is story.

In Early October of 2009 the newspapers Abendzeitung and Prinz, both German papers with a Munich centered circulation, reported the death of one Alex Sch in their obituary sections. The death occurred less than a month after Axel Sch began to exhibit his symptoms. Both papers attributed the death to "natural causes" the normal explanation given for a non-accident death that has not been officially connected to a homicide or manslaughter.

Oddly, both papers reported the death in their print editions, but not online. What's more, he received only the usual one line mention mixed in with other obituaries. No mention was made of his connection to the vaccine trials, or of a potential link between his death and the H1N1 vaccine. Either this is a different Axel Sch or somoene with influence at both papers is trying to keep the death quiet and unreported.

Cholesterol testing is a scam

Cholesterol testing is a scam. The "link" is tentative at best and the whole "good cholesterol" vs "bad cholesterol" nonsense was cooked up to explain the lack of statistical correlation. "Ohhh, your "Bad cholesterol is high, but your GOOD cholesterol is high too, so it balances  out a little!" They flexibility in what the ratios mean allows them to claim whatever happens to occur in your body was predicted by your cholesterol.

It's all a trick of statistics. Let's say 1% of people with a given cholesterol level have a heart attack. If doubling that cholesterol level correlates with 1.2% of people having a heart attack, then that's a 20% INCREASE in your risk! See how easy it is to make tiny numbers look big by talking about percentages?
