Court clerk: Donald Perkins your honour, raped a young woman knowing full well he had AIDS.
Judge Cornswalled: Well everyone knows aids doesn't exist so that's hardly worth mentioning now is it? What was the alleged victim doing at the time to allow this to happen to her?
Court clerk: Allowed your honour? The victim was drugged and raped, evidence shows her attacker deposited a quantity of the drug commonly know as GHB into her drink at the Neon Nights bar, followed her when she left and attacked her as she entered her home.
Judge Cornswalled: Oh so the alleged victim admits to being intoxicated in a den of satan? Most likely dressed in an inappropriate manner for a woman, likely designed to encourage sexual desire in men eh? Well, does the defendant have anything to say for himself?
Perkins: I'm sorry for the pain I've cause your honor, the devil wrests control from me at times, I pray nightly that god will help me in my struggle against these vile incursions.
Judge Cornswalled: Ah well - case dismissed - this man clearly has a lot of good he can do with his life, no point in keeping him locked behind bars. Next case!
Court clerk: The previous defendants victim, ahem, alleged victim, attempted to receive an abortion after finding that she was pregnant four weeks following her… incident with the previous defendant. Since your honor managed to have the bill passed making abortion classified as murder she simply awaits sentencing but the court begs clemency as she only has a few months to live.
Judge Cornswalled: Few months to live? A drink related disorder no doubt!
Court clerk: No your honor, Lymphoma, a byproduct of the AIDS passed on to her by her attacker.
Judge Cornswalled: Good lord man! How many times do I have to tell you! AIDS is a figment of the imagination - she is most likely suffering from gods wrath at her nocturnal activities. 20 years. Next case.

As a former dittohead, my depiction of a liberal was someone who wanted to use the government to make sure that everyone was provided for. In my opinion, a liberal would focus more on “taxing the rich” so that all of those new babies would be provided for.
It seems to me that liberal and conservative do not really apply to the abortion issue. If you are going to be against abortion, be against abortion. By bringing liberal and conservative into this, you run the risk of insulting a “liberal” that may be on the fence on the issue of abortion.
The pro-life and pro-choice debate is at least something reasonable that I can handle.
Each side has their points.
This illustration though is a rare exception and most certainly not the norm. I, as many others probably do also, tend to ignore the opinion of someone who obviously doesn't have all of his facts straight.
