me: The Republicans ran Palin without knowing her husband was trying to get Alaska to leave the United States, and he was open about that. Why would the Dumocrats catch something Obama has spent 20 years hiding?
His web of lies is well made, and it survived the Democrats' poor follow up. It wasn't until an opponent dug deeper that the truth came out.

Thank you. I'd assumed the last name used in the IM was fake since it didn't sound like a real name to me, but this is the Internet and people from all walks of life find their way here. I've removed the last name from the chat.
Of course my detractors will ignore the fact that I admitted I was wrong and corrected the error and will doubtless try to spin my edit as trying to hide my mistakes.
I applaud you, Alexander, for making the change. I can pat on the back as well as anyone.
The conversation is still fake, though, but that's besides the point.

I just read the article you posted from the Washinton Times.
Lifted from the article you posted are a few tidbits that should have raised warning signals EVEN to you that this "lawsuit" is meritless.
Example:

Also:

But the Hawaii State Department of Health said Monday that there is no difference between a certificate and a certification of live birth in the eyes of the state. For instance, either can be used to confirm U.S. citizenship to obtain a passport or state ID, said Alvin Onaka, a research and statistics officer at the Department of Health.
To recap -a well know org. has determined the live birth certificate is genuine.
This lawsuit was brought on by a "fringe" member of the Dems.
Regardless of when the document was issued, he is still considered a citizen of the US and nothing will change that.
